Know the basics of CLEARVIEW and are looking to see what else it can do for you? We've compiled some tips and tricks that will make your life easier.
Have you faced situations where your supplier has delivered a much higher quantity of a supplier product due to a typo in the purchase order? CLEARVIEW can help you avoid this
Quantity Warning Level - Per Product is a control in Suppliers setting, that lets you decide the maximum quantity that you expect to order of any from each supplier. This doesn't mean that you need to change the maximum quantity each time you want to order a higher quantity. You can always order quantities higher than the limit you set, when creating a purchase order, however, you will receive a pop up message as a warning.
CLEARVIEW Module Required: Inventory
Path to set ordering limit: Settings > Inventory > Suppliers (click on the Supplier Name)
Path to create purchase orders: Inventory > Purchase Orders > Create Purchase Orders (a warning will automatically pop-up each time you enter an order quantity higher than the limit you set)

Want to easily manage which CLEARVIEW functions different roles in your organization have access to?
Yes, CLEARVIEW has a lot of functions. Obviously, you don't want all your CLEARVIEW users to have access to it all. You may not want them to have access to some functions, or want to allow certain roles to only enter data, but not edit, etc. Creating security templates based on employee roles is the best way to manage CLEARVIEW access for your employees. It's a bit of work to set it up, but once you have your security templates created, all you need to do is assign it to employees. Have a new employee? You don't need to set the access level for each CLEARVIEW page for the employee. Simply assign the security template created for their role.
CLEARVIEW Module Required: Basic
Path to create security templates: Admin > Security Controls
Path to assign security templates to users: Admin > List All System Users (click on the User ID)

Did you know that you can have separate count sheets for different parts of your store?
You can create custom inventory count sheets that follow the layout of your store. Create a count sheet for your counter, another for the pass, one for each freezer, or any other method you choose. Inventory items can be repeated on different count sheets, employees only need to enter the count of the inventory items at the location, into the count sheet for that location, and CLEARVIEW will consolidate all the count sheets and give you a total count of each inventory item at your store.
CLEARVIEW Module Required: Inventory
Path to create count sheets: Settings > Inventory > Inventory Count Sheets
